Man pleads guilty to multiple robberies

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 24 Oct, 2024 10:13 AM
  • Man pleads guilty to multiple robberies

A man has been sentenced to more than two years in prison as well as receiving a lifetime firearms ban after pleading guilty to multiple robberies in the Lower Mainland.

Surrey Mounties say Jaden Kahnapace pleaded guilty earlier this year to three robberies in 2021 that all happened within the span of two weeks.

Police say the robberies happened at two stores and a pharmacy located in Surrey, Langley and Abbotsford, where cash, a number of cellphones and a large quantity of medication were taken.

The investigation eventually led to officers executing a search warrant on Kahnapace's home in Calgary a month later, where some of the stolen items were found.
