Man Killed In Targeted Shooting At Abbotsford Bank

    VANCOUVER — Police in Abbotsford, B.C., say a man is dead after what they believe was a targeted shooting Thursday evening.

     

    A department spokeswoman says in a news release, police responded to reports of shots fired at the CIBC bank in the 32000-block of South Fraser Way about 6:43 p.m..

     

    Sgt. Judy Bird says police found a dead male in the area, and the investigation is in the early stages.

     
     
     
     

    “Upon arrival, officers located a deceased male,” she said. “We are in the early stages of this investigation; however, the initial indications suggest this appears to be a targeted incident.”

     

    The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team tweeted that investigators are on the scene.
