Vancouver police say a man jumped on a police car and smashed the windshield over the weekend before he tried to run away.
Officers say yesterday's incident was unrelated to a traffic stop they were conducting at the time.
A man in his 20s was arrested and charges are pending.
R-C-M-P say officers pulled over an stolen vehicle with four people inside. They say the occupants ran away when officers told them they were under arrest, including one man who was holding what was believed to be a weapon.
