Vancouver police say a man jumped on a police car and smashed the windshield over the weekend before he tried to run away.
Officers say yesterday's incident was unrelated to a traffic stop they were conducting at the time.
A man in his 20s was arrested and charges are pending.

Police say the stabbing happened Sunday after a brief altercation between two men outside the coffee shop in the city's downtown core. 32 year old Inderdeep Singh Gosal is accused of second-degree murder.
