Man In Custody Faces Murder Charge After Fatal Assault In Lillooet: RCMP

    LILLOOET, B.C. — Mounties say a 43-year-old resident of Lillooet, B.C., is facing a murder charge after a 61-year-old man was assaulted and killed.
     
    RCMP responded to reports of an assault at a home at about 3 p.m. Tuesday and found the older man with serious injuries.
     
    Officers say the man died of his injuries after being rushed to hospital.
     
    Police say a suspect was quickly located and is in custody.
