Man Hospitalized With Serious Injuries After Weekend Shooting In Surrey

    SURREY, B.C. — A man has been hospitalized after gunfire broke out in Surrey over the weekend.
     
    The RCMP responded to reports of a shooting (in the 12200 block of 92nd Avenue) early Saturday evening.
     
    The Mounties say a vehicle was spotted leaving the area shortly after the incident.
     
    Police say the shooting victim is in serious condition but is expected to survive.
     
    Officers will canvass the neighbourhood and speak with witnesses as part of their investigation.
     
    Police say the shooting appears to be targeted.
