A man is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Abbotsford. Police say the pedestrian accident happened this morning on North Parallel Road.

The driver stayed at the scene and is co-operating with the investigation.
Police say the recent heavy snowfall likely contributed to the crash.
The Canadian Security Intelligence Service says the officer who was "implicated" in the allegations — made public in an investigation by The Canadian Press this week — was removed from the workplace.
