Man Facing Murder Charge After Stabbing At Abbotsford Gas Station

    ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Homicide investigators say a man is facing a second-degree murder charge after a deadly stabbing at a gas station in Abbotsford, B.C.
     
    Officers say two men met at the gas station and a fight broke out on the night of Feb. 19.
     
    Police say 35-year-old Trevor Johnson was stabbed during the altercation and rushed to hospital, but died of his injuries shortly after arriving.
     
    The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called to the scene after Johnson's death.
     
    Thirty-year-old Thavone Carlson of Abbotsford has now been arrested and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
