Police say a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the October 19th collision has since died of their injuries and a driver remains in hospital.
They say while first responders were on scene for the collision, a car disregarded city road closure barricades and police crime scene tape to enter the collision site.
Police say the car narrowly missed emergency personnel working the collision investigation.

Burnaby R-C-M-P say the crash happened at 1:50 p-m near Imperial Street and Patterson Avenue, when an eastbound car veered onto the sidewalk and hit the 19-year-old victim. The victim remains in hospital in serious condition, and police have ruled out impaired driving as a factor.
