Vancouver police are investigating the city's latest homicide.
A 34-year-old man was fatally stabbed yesterday afternoon on the city's Downtown Eastside and was found lying on a sidewalk at about 3 p.m.
Police say the sidewalk is enclosed by a construction tunnel and investigators are certain that witnesses saw what happened and can share details of the attack.
No arrests have been made and police haven't said if any suspects have been identified
British Columbia's government is warning that temperatures are expected to reach the high 30s starting this weekend. But Emergency Management Minister Bowinn Ma says a repeat of the 2021 heat dome that killed more than 615 people is not forecast.
