Mounties in Surrey say a man has died after a shooting last Friday.
R-C-M-P say the man was found suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot near Cineplex cinemas' Strawberry Hill location along 122 Street.
They say he was taken to hospital but later died, and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called to take over the case.
The Mounties say the July 5th shooting in Surrey's Newton area is believed to be a targeted, isolated incident.

Police in Prince George, B.C., say they have arrested two people over allegations they were trafficking safe-supply drugs that are prescribed as an alternative to the toxic drug supply in the province. RCMP say they acted on tips from the public and information from other investigations to gather enough evidence to detain the two suspects who were "seen allegedly exchanging illicit drugs for safer supply drugs."
