Mounties in Surrey say a man has died after a shooting last Friday.
R-C-M-P say the man was found suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot near Cineplex cinemas' Strawberry Hill location along 122 Street.
They say he was taken to hospital but later died, and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called to take over the case.
The Mounties say the July 5th shooting in Surrey's Newton area is believed to be a targeted, isolated incident.
Police in Surrey are asking for anyone with dash-camera footage to come forward after a crash that killed two people in the Cloverdale neighbourhood. B-C's minimum hourly wage is increasing to 17 dollars and 40 cents, up from 16.75. The Labour Ministry says the 3.9 per cent increase kicks in on Saturday. It says in a statement that the increase will help about 240-thousand workers in the province who currently earn less than 17.40 an hour.
