A 24-year-old man has been charged in the stabbing death of another man that happened in Surrey in July.
B-C's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says police were called to the scene of a fight on King George Boulevard on July 23rd and found a man identified as Jason Richard Gill suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Gill died at the scene.
Police say prosecutors have now charged a 24-year-old suspect with second-degree murder, and investigators believe the attack was isolated and the two men knew each other prior to the stabbing.
Police are still investigating the cause of death of a woman whose body was found at a Kelowna park on Friday. Mounties say the 28-year-old was found on the shores of Okanagan Lake in Waterfront Park.
A motorcyclist has died following a crash in North Vancouver on Saturday night. The North Vancouver R-C-M-P say in a social media post that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash that killed the man on Low Level Road.

Canadian retail sales rose 0.7 per cent to $66.8 billion in April, helped by higher sales at gasoline stations as well as food and beverage retailers. The agency said Friday sales were up in seven of the nine subsectors it tracks as sales at gasoline stations and fuel vendors gained 4.5 per cent.
