Vancouver police say a 28-year-old man has been charged in the shooting death of a man in the Downtown Eastside.
Officers say they responded to a call on August 29th after a 43-year-old man was shot and the victim died at the scene.
The suspect was arrested on Wednesday in the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood following an investigation.
The man has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and he is now in custody

A landslide blocking a river in British Columbia's central Interior has injured a man and prompted the Cariboo Regional District to issue evacuation orders due to "immediate danger to life and safety" caused by flooding triggered by the slide.
