Mounties in North Vancouver say they have arrested a man for the breaking and entering of an Airbnb last month.

They say a family from the United States had been unloading their car at the property and had left the rear door of the home open.

Police say C-C-T-V footage showed a man stealing several items.

They say a man they believe responsible for the crime was arrested, but has been released until his next court appearance on October 23rd.

Police say it happened early yesterday morning when the family's car collided with a tractor trailer. The two adults in the front were pronounced dead at the scene, while the baby was airlifted to hospital only to die a few hours later.
