Man Arrested After Woman Found Dead In New Westminster: Police

    NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. — Police say a woman is dead and a man is in custody after an apparent fight in New Westminster, B.C.
     
    Officers say they responded to a complaint about an altercation between a man and woman on 8th Avenue near 15th Street just at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.
     
    Police say the woman was found dead, and officers arrested the man.
     
    The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is now taking over the investigation.
     
    Police are not releasing any further details.
