Man Arrested After Alleged Disturbance On Toronto-Bound Air Canada Flight

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 31 Dec, 2015 12:49 PM
Toronto-area police say they've made a second arrest in as many days after a disturbance on board a flight.

Peel Regional Police say they took a man into custody after his plane landed at Toronto's Pearson International Airport early Thursday morning.

Air Canada says the flight — AC1312 — was carrying 199 passengers from Calgary to Toronto on a late flight when a customer became disruptive.

It's the second time in two days that trouble on board a commercial flight has led to an arrest.

On Wednesday, police arrested an Alberta resident who allegedly assaulted a flight attendant on board an Air Canada flight en route to India.

The plane, which took off from Toronto, had to turn around 2 1/2 hours into the trip.
