Man, 25, In Critical Condition After Being Found With Stab Wounds In Surrey's Hawthorne Park

The Canadian Press, 15 Aug, 2015 12:41 PM
SURREY, B.C. — A 25-year-old man is in critical condition after a stabbing in Surrey on Friday afternoon.

RCMP Cpl. Scotty Schumann says he was found in Hawthorne Park in the city's north end.

He says police believe the man was assaulted somewhere else.

Officers think he walked to the park after being assaulted at another location.

Schumann says a puncture wound as shallow as a centimetre can be life-threatening.

There are no suspects and Mounties are looking for witnesses.
