Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers is reminding people to be on the lookout for the “Grinch” this holiday season.

The agency says as street crimes are hitting an all-time high, porch pirates, parking lot break-and-enters and online fraud are among the things to watch out for this holiday season.

Executive director Linda Annis says people who witness a crime but want to remain anonymous can contact her agency by phone.

The agency is also offering some tips for everyone to have a safe holiday season, including not leaving "easy picking" for thieves and thinking twice before clicking “yes” on the online shopping cart.
