Lineup released for the Invictus Games

Vancouver Whistler Games Corporation has announced the lineup for the closing ceremonies of the 2025 Invictus Games.

The closing ceremony, which will take place at Rogers Arena on February 16th, will include Nashville country singer Jelly Roll, Canadian rock band Barenaked Ladies, and Americana music duo The War And Treaty.

The ink is dry and it’s official, Jelly Roll is coming to the Closing Ceremony of the #InvictusGames Vancouver Whistler 2025 presented by ATCO and Boeing.

The corporation says those acts will join previously announced artists Noah Kahan, Nelly Furtado, and Roxane Bruneau, who will open the ceremonies on February 8th at B-C Place.

The announcement comes days after Prince Harry -- who founded the games for wounded and sick veterans and other service personnel -- came to Vancouver for the launch of a campaign to raise awareness of the Games among children and youth.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission has granted Google a five-year exemption from the Online News Act, ordering it to release the $100 million it now owes to Canadian news outlets within 60 days.
