Langley suspect on the lam

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 10 Jun, 2024 09:52 AM
  • Langley suspect on the lam

Police in Langley say they're searching for a suspect who fled from officers after ramming two police cars with an S-U-V during an arrest.

R-C-M-P say the incident happened on Thursday, when police received a call about a suspicious B-M-W S-U-V with two license plates that did not belong to the vehicle.

Police arrived at the scene on Fraser Highway and found the vehicle containing a driver and a passenger, where the driver then rammed two police cars before the S-U-V was disabled.

The passenger immediately surrendered and was arrested, but police say the driver fled on foot and investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward.
