Langley RCMP officer who killed an active shooter says it was justified

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 18 May, 2023 04:22 PM
  • Langley RCMP officer who killed an active shooter says it was justified

The province's police watchdog says the Langley R-C-M-P officer who shot and killed an active shooter last summer likely saved many lives.

B-C's Independent Investigations Office has released its report on the incident, saying the shots fired were justified.

Police say a 28-year-old man went on a shooting spree in July last year, leaving two people dead and two others injured.
