Kootenay Lake Boat Crash Leaves 30-Year-Old Man Dead, Three Others Injured

    CRESTON, B.C. — One man is dead and three other people are injured after a boating incident on Kootenay Lake in southeastern B.C.
     
    RCMP from both Creston and Kaslo, B.C., were called to the lake around 9 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports that a boat had struck a rock.
     
    RCMP say in a release that four people were onboard at the time of the crash.
     
    A 30-year-old man died at the scene.
     
    Three other people were transported to hospital.
     
    RCMP are now investigating the cause of the crash.
