Kelowna RCMP Arrest Woman Located In Reportedly Stolen Vehicle

    On March 4th, 2020 just after 4:15 a.m. a frontline Kelowna RCMP officer was busy with an investigation near the corner of Harvey Avenue and Richter Street in Kelowna when he noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in the area.


    A check of the licence plate showed that the vehicle had been reported stolen.


    The driver of the stolen vehicle attempted to flee but was unable to get past the police vehicle.
    She was placed under arrest for possession of stolen property after a brief struggle.


    The 33-year-old Oliver woman had several outstanding warrants. She is currently in custody on this matter. Her name is not being released at this time.
