Kelowna coin collection theft

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 11 Sep, 2024 05:10 PM
  • Kelowna coin collection theft

The Kelowna R-C-M-P says it is looking for the rightful owner of a rare coin collection that was recovered during a traffic stop.

They say the collection holds several collector's coins from over the years and police are certain someone in the community is missing them.

The Mounties say they released a photo of a portion of the collection to help the owner identify them, and will only accept proof of ownership for their return.

Police say they are turning to the public, as every other method of trying to locate the owner has failed.
