Kelowna, B.C. Woman Says Feces From Plane Fell Through Car's Sunroof And Into Her Eyes

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 05 Jun, 2018 11:56 AM
KELOWNA, B.C. — A woman in Kelowna, B.C., says an afternoon drive with her son turned into a "devastating" experience when human feces fell from the sky and into her eyes from the open sunroof of their car.

Susan Allan says she and her 21-year-old son Travis Sweet had just returned from having lunch with her mother when the stinky feces fell on their faces and covered the vehicle.

She says the feces appeared to have fallen from a plane that she saw when they were stopped at a red light with another car that was also hit.

Allan says she and the driver of the other car drove to a carwash and sprayed themselves off before she called the Kelowna airport.

She says an administrator at the airport told her Transport Canada would be investigating and the department has confirmed it is looking into the incident possibly involving what's called "blue ice" or waste from an aircraft.

Allan says she has conjunctivitis in both eyes and provided a doctor's note saying the infections were due to being "inundated with sewage from an overhead plane while driving her car."
