Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 26 Jan, 2016 06:40 PM
KAMLOOPS, B.C. — More than a year after he was shot and seriously wounded at a traffic stop, Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Jean-Rene Michaud is back on the job.

Supt. Brad Mueller says Michaud has returned to work in a limited capacity, working part-time on administrative duties.

Mueller says Michaud's return is a positive step that has been good for morale in the force.

Michaud was shot in the early-morning hours of Dec. 3, 2014, shortly after pulling over a vehicle.

Kenneth Knutson was arrested after a 12-hour manhunt and is facing an attempted murder charge.

A lawyer for Knutson has said a guilty plea will be entered in March.
