Jus Reign is Back in Vancouver for ‘A Very Punjabi Christmas!’

    As a lead up to Christmas in 2013, popular YouTube comedian Jus Reign introduced the video series, "The Punjabi Christmas Album." Featuring two main characters, "The Geeta Brothers," the videos re-create traditional English-language Christmas carols with a Punjabi twist. The videos were extremely successful and developed into a full Christmas audio album available for download on iTunes.

    Following up to their success, Jus Reign and his fellow comedian Babbu adapted their popular Christmas Parody album, "Geeta Brothers: A Very Punjabi Christmas" into a live stage show in 2015. The show featured skits and songs from the album and special appearances from other artists. The hilarious and popular duo sold out their show at the renowned Rose Theatre in Brampton. Due to the overwhelming success and popularity of the show, the duo are back with a follow up concert for the 2016 holiday season and expanding their show into British Columbia.

    This year's show will feature brand new songs, festive audio visuals, as well as the much loved comedic style of the duo that fans have grown to love. Experience Christmas in a way you have never experienced before! Celebrate South Asian culture and Christmas in one hilarious evening that is fun for the whole family, so don’t miss out on this amazing, once in-a-lifetime experience and opportunity.

    This is a family show open to all ages with no use of suggestive language or any other inappropriate content. Approximately 60% of the content is in Punjabi and 40% in English. There will be a Meet n Greet opportunity for those who have purchased special passes.

    Jasmeet Singh (aka Jus Reign) has over 2.5M social media followers, he was named the 2016 YouTuber of the Year in the Next Media Awards, and he hosted the Red Carpet for the 2016 Much Music Video Awards.

    His performance in Vancouver is presented in collaboration with the South Asian Arts Society which actively promotes South Asian dance, music, and theatre via dance and music classes, professional performances and workshops, guest lectures, as well as presenting comedic plays, musicals, and dance dramas.
