Johnson scores 4 as Six Nations beats Coquitlam to even Minto Cup series 2-2

    Josh Johnson scored four goals and assisted on two more as the Six Nations Arrows downed the Coquitlam Adanacs 10-7 in Game 4 of the Minto Cup on Wednesday.
     
    Johnny Powless had two goals and four assists, Brendan Bomberry had a goal and four assists, Haodais Maracle scored twice and Ian Martin also scored as Six Nations evened the best-of-seven series for the Canadian junior-A lacrosse championship at two games apiece.
     
    Challen Rogers scored two for the Adanacs, Tyler Pace had a goal and two assists and Michael Messenger, Jen Luc Chetner, Brett Hawrys and Wesley Berg also scored. Eli McLaughlin chipped in with two assists.
     
    Arrows goalie Doug Jamieson made 36 saves in the victory, while Coquitlam's Peter Dubenski stopped 48 shots in the losing effort.
     
    The Adanacs won the first two games of the series. Six Nations took Game 3 on Tuesday night 19-5.
     
    The series continues Thursday with Game 5 at the Langley Events Centre.
