  • IHIT called to Langley, man found dead

On Thursday, February 10th just before 1:30 a.m. Langley RCMP was called to the 1800 block of 224 Street after a report of man down was received. Upon police attendance, an adult victim was located and found to be deceased.

Based on the investigative theory in this initial phase, this does not appear to be a random act.

Police are currently in the evidence gathering phase, no further information will be provided at this time. Further details and media availability will be handled by the IHIT Media Relations Officer.

IHIT is seeking dashcam footage from anyone who was on 224th Street between 16th and 40th Avenues between 11:00 p.m. on February 9th and 1:30 a.m. on February 10th.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation can call the IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
