Ian Begg's Death Suspicious, Probed As Homicide: Prince George RCMP

The Canadian Press, 25 Aug, 2015 12:34 PM
PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Mounties in northern B.C. say a homicide investigation is underway into the suspicious death of a man found at the end of a secluded road.

Prince George RCMP say an officer found the body of 35-year-old Ian Begg south of the city on Sunday morning.

Police say Begg's cause of death has not yet been identified, but it is suspicious and officers are treating it as a homicide.

Prince George RCMP's serious crimes and forensic identification sections are helping with the case.

They say they want to learn more about the habits and whereabouts of the local man in the days leading up to his death.

Police also want to speak with anyone who had contact with Begg.
