Hwy. 1 Crash In Southeast B.C., Kills An Alberta Man, Injures Truck Driver

The Canadian Press, 21 Jan, 2020 07:19 PM

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - An Alberta man has died in a two-vehicle crash in southeastern British Columbia.

RCMP say an eastbound transport truck collided with a westbound pickup truck on Monday evening on Highway 1 near Revelstoke.

The pickup driver died at the scene while the driver of the transport truck suffered what police describe as serious neck and back injuries.

RCMP say the cause of the crash is under investigation.

They say the driver of the pickup may also have clipped another transport truck about one kilometre before the deadly collision.

The area of the crash was listed in good winter driving condition at the time, with visibility rated at excellent. (CHNL)
