Homicide Investigators Seek Motive In Suspected Targeted Shooting In Surrey, B.C.

    SURREY, B.C. — One man is dead after what police believe was a targeted shooting last night in Surrey, B.C.
     
    Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 14300 block of 90A Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. where they found two victims in their late 20s with gunshot wounds.
     
    The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says a second man was injured in the incident just before 10:30 p.m.
     
    Staff Sgt. Jennifer Pound says in a release that Surrey RCMP found two wounded victims after responding to a call for shots fired.
     
     
    She says the men, both in their late 20s, were rushed to hospital by ambulance, but only one survived.
     
    Pound says police are working to confirm a motive for the attack and identify the culprits.
     
    She says police are contacting the victim's family members before releasing his identity.
