  • Homicide Investigators Probing Suspicious Death Of Woman In Surrey
SURREY, B.C. — Homicide investigators are probing the suspicious death of a woman in Surrey, B.C.
 
Surrey RCMP were called at 11 p.m. Friday to investigate a death in a home near 127th Street and 103 Avenue.
 
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called just after 1:30 a.m. when it was determined the woman's death was suspicious.
 
Sgt. Stephanie Ashton says the death is not believed to be a random act and there is no reason to believe nearby residents are at risk.
 
She says investigators are now looking into the events that led to the woman's death.
 
Anyone who may have information is asked to contact the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
