Homicide Detectives Called To Mission, B.C., After Remains Found On Remote Road

    MISSION, B.C. — Homicide investigators have been called to Mission, B.C., east of Vancouver.
     
    A release from Mission RCMP says a person driving on a forest service road in the Fraser Valley on Tuesday evening reported the discovery of human remains.
     
    Mission RCMP Sgt. Sean Wright says the detachment alerted the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team to probe the suspicious death.
     
    Evidence is being gathered and Wright says detectives expect to remain at the scene for some time.
     
    Police have not commented on the condition of the remains or where and how they were found.
     
    Investigators are urging anyone with information about the case to come forward.
