Police in Vancouver say a suspect has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a man in east Vancouver.
They say officers responded to a report of a stabbing at residential building near Kingsway Avenue just after midnight yesterday.
Police say the victim died of his injuries before he could be brought to the hospital.
They say a 27-year-old woman was arrested nearby and remains in custody.

Police on southern Vancouver Island say they’ve arrested almost as many impaired drivers in the first eight months of this year than they did in 2023 in a concerning trend of people getting behind the wheel while drunk or on drugs. Mounties in Terrace say they have identified the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash over the weekend as a driver for a local taxi company who has since left the country.
