Home targeted in Abbotsford shooting

Police in Abbotsford are looking for a third suspect after a home was shot at this morning.

Investigators say were no injuries reported and it's believed the incident to be targeted.

A statement from the department says suspects fled the scene on Holly Street in a red sedan before officers arrived, and two men were later located and arrested with the help of police dogs.

AbbyPD Officers are on scene in the 2100 block of Holly Street after responding to reports of shots being fired at 7:42 am. The statement says a third suspect is still at large and police are asking witnesses to come forward

No jail time for woman involved in theft of money for school supplies

The recent provincial court decision says the woman was the treasurer of the South Rutland Elementary Parents Advisory Council (PAC) in Kelowna when she began stealing the funds in 2016, soon after her husband lost his job.
