Jonathan Cardinal, a 29-year-old federal sex offender who failed to return to his Vancouver halfway house last week, has been arrested by police.
Just before midnight on July 7, two uniformed officers noticed Cardinal walking in the Downtown Eastside.
Cardinal initially provided officers with a false name, however, he was arrested after officers discovered his identity.
Cardinal is in custody.
A suspect has been taken into custody by Metro Vancouver Transit Police for the alleged exposure incident which was reported on Monday morning.
Vancouver Police arrested an erratic driver, believed to be impaired, after he drove toward oncoming traffic and pedestrian’s downtown. Fortunately, no one was injured.
