Help ID suspect in Burnaby robbery

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 16 Nov, 2023 01:10 PM
  • Help ID suspect in Burnaby robbery

Burnaby R-C-M-P are hoping the public can help them identify a suspect wanted for a brazen robbery that happened almost two months ago.

Police say a man was sitting in his vehicle at about 1:30 a.m., on September 27th when the suspect opened the car door, assaulted him and stole 33-hundred dollars.

The location of the robbery shows it happened steps away from Burnaby's Grand Villa Casino (near Dominion Street and Sumner Avenue.)

Investigators have released a photo of the suspect dressed entirely in black, including a hoodie, a baseball cap with a large yellow logo, three-stripe Adidas-style track pants and runners -- and they want to talk to anyone who might be able to identify him.
