HAVE YOU SEEN HIM: Surrey RCMP Looking For High Risk Missing 86-Year-Old GURNAM CHEEMA

Darpan News Desk, 17 Mar, 2020 07:06 PM

Surrey RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a high risk missing elderly male Gurnam Cheema who was last seen at 9:15 a.m. on March 16 in the 9700-block of 131A Street in Surrey. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Cheema is described as an 86-year-old south Asian male, 5’6”, heavy build, with short white trimmed beard and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing light blue turban, grey Indian outfit, black and grey jacket, brown leather shoes and carrying a yellow plastic grocery bag. Police and family are concerned for his health and well-being.

It is out of character for Cheema to be out of touch this long. He suffers from a medical condition requiring medication. Cheema is known to frequent Surrey Central Mall and Guildford Mall areas. He uses buses and SkyTrains for travel.

Anyone with information on Cheema’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca, quoting file number 2020-40744.
