Four-Year-Old Boy Falls From Second-Story Balcony In Surrey, Miraculously Escapes Injury

Darpan News Desk, 05 Jun, 2015 10:21 AM
SURREY, B.C. — A four-year-old boy is uninjured after climbing over a balcony railing and falling three meters.

RCMP say officers and paramedics responded at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday to an apartment building in 14900-block of 105th Avenue, Surrey, B.C.

Mounties say the boy left his family's apartment through a patio door and stepped onto a chair leaning against the balcony railing.

He then climbed over the top of the railing, falling two storeys onto the soft ground below.

RCMP say a neighbour witnessed the accident and helped the boy get back inside his apartment.

When paramedics arrived, the boy was not showing any signs of being injured but was transported to hospital as a precaution.
