CALGARY — Alberta Premier Rachel Notley says she plans to bring up flood mitigation with Prime Minister Stephen Harper during a meeting in Calgary.
She says she wants to discuss outstanding federal flood relief funding and flood mitigation projects.
Notley says she does not expect ideological differences between herself and the Conservative prime minister to get in the way.
She says she wants the best results for Albertans and believes Harper feels the same way.
Notley says she's not sure whether she will meet with federal NDP Opposition leader Tom Mulcair during Stampede week.
Notley had her first turn as head pancake flipper at the annual premier's Stampede breakfast in downtown Calgary.
