Police in Metro Vancouver say a fire that destroyed a building used to store athletic equipment has been declared suspicious in nature.
Delta Police say investigators have yet to identify any suspects in the blaze that occurred near a park in Tsawwassen early in the morning on May 17th.
They're asking anyone with information to come forward, saying it could help investigators determine the cause of the fire.
Mounties in B.C.'s Lower Mainland say a months-long trafficking investigation spanned multiple cities and led to the seizure of significant quantities of illicit drugs, along with guns and $500,000 in cash. A statement from Chilliwack RCMP says police searched locations including an apartment in downtown Chilliwack, a home in Vancouver's Collingwood area, two residences in Langley's Willowbrook neighbourhood as well as three in Surrey.

Treasury Board President Anita Anand says no government ministry and agency will be left out of the process of cutting 5,000 public-service positions. Burnaby Hospital and Fraser Health say a new robot assisted surgery system is set to be put into action, the first in Western Canada. The Burnaby Hospital Foundation and the health authority say teams are now training on the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted, a 2.3 three million dollar addition to the hospital's Jim Pattison Surgery Centre.
