CHILLIWACK, B.C. — RCMP in Chilliwack, B.C., are investigating a disturbing discovery in the bathroom of a local fast food restaurant.
 
On Saturday, a customer found a human fetus in the washroom of a Tim Hortons restaurant, about 100 kilometres east of Vancouver.
 
Police and the coroner were called immediately.
 
Investigators have not yet said if the mother has been identified or how long the remains might have been in the washroom.
 
They also aren't commenting on the gestational age of the fetus or if the case is considered criminal. 
 
An update about the investigation is expected Monday.
