Female Realtors Warned Of Suspicious Potential Buyer In Metro Vancouver Area

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 25 Apr, 2019 08:37 PM

VANCOUVER — The Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board is warning female agents about a man who has generated several complaints.

A statement from the board says it has heard from Realtors in areas serviced by SkyTrain in Burnaby, Vancouver, New Westminster and Richmond.

The women say they've been contacted by a man who asked them to show a home, insisting they come alone and if they refuse, he gets angry.

The board says since the warning went out, it has discovered a man with a similar description has been going to open houses hosted by women and that he'll linger, overstaying his welcome.

It says the man goes by the name Sean Z or Lee Chang, is soft spoken and about 30 years old.

The statement says some complaints have been relayed to police in various jurisdictions and agents should not be alone at open houses or showings.
