Police in Victoria are investigating after one person was stabbed to death and a second was seriously injured Sunday morning.
The department says officers were called to the 700-block of Pandora Avenue at approximately 4 a.m. and found the body of a man.
Police say a second victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers say one person was taken into custody and there is no further risk to the public.

Rescuers say a woman is lucky to be alive after being caught in an avalanche on Metro Vancouver's North Shore and being completely buried upside down for up to 20 minutes. North Shore Rescue says the incident happened Sunday at the south face of Pump Peak, about 24 kilometres northeast of downtown Vancouver.
