On November 18, 2018, 30 year-old Cameron Kerr of Terrace, BC was walking home along Highway 16 west of Terrace when he was struck and killed by a hit and run driver.
Since that time, investigators have received a significant number of tips from the public and have gathered valuable evidence. Investigators believe that there are a number of witnesses in this matter that have information which, if provided to police, will assist the investigation.
It should be noted that some witnesses and persons of interest previously identified in this matter are not from Terrace or the Northern BC area and, in fact, reside in the Lower Mainland of BC.
This tragic incident continues to affect the community of Terrace and the Kerr family. The RCMP are committed to solving this case and will utilize all legal means necessary to bring those responsible for this crime to justice for the sake of our community and the Kerr family.
To those responsible and to those who have knowledge of this tragic event - and you know who you are - we encourage you to come forward with your information and take responsibility for your actions, says Sgt.
