Excel Career College, a 33 year-old career education institution first established in Courtenay, has announced it is opening two new campuses in the Victoria area.  

Excel is opening a campus on Douglas Street in downtown Victoria this Thursday, August 4th, 2022, and shortly thereafter will open a campus in Langford bringing its unique hands-on, career building skills approach to the area.

This Thursday, August 4th, 2022, visit the brand new campus located at #225-1207 Douglas Street, Victoria BC.

Get a chance to meet Excel's team and leadership, learn more about the programs and enjoy light snacks and refreshments!

Over their history, Excel has achieved this success by developing extensive relationships with employers across key industry sectors throughout the province and bringing on faculty and guest lecturers with real-world experience.

Seafood, Healthcare, Marine Safety, Finance and Business related diplomas are a few examples of their main programs, complimented by short module courses that feature specific skills development including bookkeeping and accounting, business communications, and jobs search skills training.

Excel's other campuses include Courtenay, and Kelowna.

Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a shot fired in the 13700 block of Grosvenor road. A male suffering from serious injuries was located and transported to a local area hospital.

Richmond RCMP is saddened to report that missing 64-year old Nedunchellian Vasse Pushparaj (male) has been found deceased on May 19, 2022 in the 6800 block of Miller Rd. This incident is not considered suspicious.

The suspect had allegedly entered the gas station holding the hand of his small child and after walking around the store, approached the counter and demanded money. During the course of the robbery, the suspect had pulled up his shirt, exposing the butt of what appeared to be a firearm.
