East Vancouver Murder Appears To Be Drug Related: RCMP

    Vancouver police have a man in custody and are recommending manslaughter charges after a body was discovered in an apartment.
     
    Police were called to an East Vancouver building Tuesday afternoon where officers found the body of a man.
     
    Police say a few minutes after the discovery, a 29-year-old man who had been living in the same home was picked up by patrol officers a few blocks away.
     
    The accused and the victim are know to each other and police say the homicide appears to be drug related.
     
    Neither the name of the victim nor of the accused have been released.
