Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 24 Aug, 2015 10:22 AM
VANCOUVER — A 28-year-old woman is recovering from serious injuries following an attack near a golf course in southeast Vancouver.

Const. Brian Montague says the victim was walking her dog on the trails around the Fraserview Golf Course shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday when she was assaulted.

A passing jogger found the woman and called police.

Officers spent most of the day searching for a suspect, gathering evidence and locating witnesses, but have not made an arrest.

The victim was treated in hospital but was released later in the day.

Montague says anyone with information about the attack should contact Vancouver police.
